AO and PK benefit from their linemates evenly, LD is heavily dependent on one player, JS on two.

To be fair, look at that list for LD lol.

(Not trying to push the case much, but yikes, that really is some AHL stuff going on there.)

Have you not seen the Oilers roster ??? Those 2 basically are the Oilers roster....

Oilers have 3 players with 30 points or more
Hawks have 6 players
Caps have 7
Buff has 5

Not only that but after those 3 players the Oilers have 2 with 20 pts or more and the rest are barely even on the score sheet.

Hold on. 13 seasons in and there are still people betting against Ovechkin? You should all know how this story ends by this point.

I love it when people actually do research and apply facts to arguments.

No one talking about Draisaitl slowly inching his way to the top? Ohhh yeah that's right he is a product of mcdavid .

Ovechkins got guys like backstrom or carlson kuznetzov and oshie helping him score

Skinner also has Eichel Reinhardt and Dahlin

And Kane of course has toews Keith and this year Gustafson who is having a fantastic year out of know where .

Guess it's only the Oilers players who benefit from who they play beside. Everyone else obviously does it on there own

That doesn't fit since the popular opinion is that McDavid is playing 1vs9 everytime he is one the ice and if it would actually be acknowledged that Draisaitl might be a great player in his own right people see this as a threat towards McDavids "generational status".

It's Reinhart, no "D", which suits him well phonetically as well as in his playing style. Anyways, I do agree that Skinner is benefiting greatly from that trio. With that said, I've noticed that as the rest of them cool off to some extent and we inevitably revert to being crappy, Skinner has continued pace. I wonder if he's not playing for that contract whereas the rest of them realize the season is over. Either way, more power to him, he's been incredibly efficient in putting up goals even as the rest of the team dwindles. I fear we've likely lost our shot at him with this recent stretch.

This is the problem. How many players seem to have that career year during contract year and get HUGE money and completely disappear while collecting that fat salary .

IMO the NFL is the only league that has there ducks in a row in regards to contracts with having only a certain amount gaurnteed and can cut player at any given time
