Jack had a great game offensively but he struggled 5on5 defensively partly because Reinhart was sleeping & Oli got owned.

It was a weird game, but I'm glad they took back momentum once Montreal tied.

I see someone commenting that 25 minutes for Risto is again too much and that he had a brutal gaff that lead to a GA. He's again being overused. That's not on him, he isn't going to tell the coach no when he calls his number. I don't see people hating him.

He was playing super slow. That's what I'll ride Jack about. You can't play slow like that in this league. Hopefully he rebounds Friday like Eichel did tonight from CBJ.

- Eichel was fantastic in the 2nd
- Powerplay looks fantastic
- Hutton came up with some huge saves in the 3rd
- Risto running through Danault
- Miller & Johansson look to be great additions so far
- I love the LOG line. They play so hard and give 100% every shift...offense will eventually come for them
- Thought Joker had a solid night

B:
- 68/9/23 on Mtl's 4th goal
- Sobotka with 53/90...he's an offensive black hole
- Dahlin looked very lackadaisical at times which caused us trouble

U:
- Max Domi's face
- Sobotka
- We have serious issues breaking the puck out of the dzone when we are pressured, its this team's achilles heel.
- Starting to have serious concerns for Mittelstadt. Yes he's young but I have yet to see any improvement in any part of his game 100-ish games into his career. It honestly seems like he's slowly regressed since that 6 game stint out of college.

A couple things from the Sportsnet broadcast:

-They had Krueger on pre game and he took responsibility for Eichel's OT gaffe last game. Said he had on 1st OT shift, it was long, and he put him back out too quickly. The panel said Eichel has a habit of getting down on himself and they really like how Krueger handled it. Said that Eichel really believes he is in it with Krueger this year and is really motivated.

- Friedman said there were 30 scouts there tonight to see Risto. Burke said there is a real divide between front offices on Risto between the eye test and advanced stats

- They were glowing about Mojo all evening, how he makes any line he is on much better.
