After 4 games I think this team is being told be Krueger to just go. May take them a while to figure out how to go without getting got. 2 games in a row they've really struggle with the fast forecheck. Decision making really struggles under pressure and there's still the panic mode of last season creeping into their game.

The Good:

- Jack with a goal reminiscent of Bert in his prime. Four points and some heady play in his own zone at times.
- Hutton was really good tonight. Hope they don't ask him to be like this so often.
- Olofsson's release.
- Skinner was more dangerous tonight.
- MJ remains such a savvy get.
- I liked Miller tonight, while Dahlin was having a hard time and fought the puck at times.
- Risto's response to Miller getting trucked.
- LOG. It is big. It is heavy.
- Adjustments late by the coach - Vesey getting some time up, Dahlin sitting a bit and VO as well after some defensive gaffs.

The Bad:

- The shorty and the 4GA would be ones I would like better play from Jack and others. He can't make that turnover in that area late in a one-goal game.
- Olofsson on the SHGA. Don't give it back kid.
- Scandella remains a problem for me.
- Mitts.
- Risto's brainfart moment clearing the puck into the middle of the ice and it is an easy goal against.

The Ugly:

- Not pretty but winning ugly.
- Sobotka's putback and general offensive game were terrible.
- So much obstruction from the Habs.

Agreed. Send him down, call up Asplund and see if he can provide at least quality defensive minutes. That line is getting its ass kicked and it starts in the middle.

Tonight showed me this is at most a wild card team, which is a huge improvement from the previous seasons. We struggle against teams with the Jackets with great forechecking and also against the Habs with speed. Hopefully Krueger can create game plans and lineups to match these types of teams. Hutton bailed us out tonight with some incredible saves.
