I've quickly become a proponent of the double first base, there was another play a couple days ago where Seager turned his ankle after stepping on the foot of the pitcher who had come over to cover the bag.

It would certainly reduce these type of injuries and I really can't see a downside.

i can't even watch this shit. cardinals voodoo plus a one game take all plus the dodgers injury and general luck all year = doodoo

and even then the giants just have that weird magic where damn near every call and bounce goes their way. Dodgers would have to overcome that, their opposite pixie dust, and a rash of important injuries.
