After 11 rounds in Austria Sturm Graz are the surprise leaders with an 8 point lead over Altach, yes Salzburg is not even in the top 2 for now. Salzburg are third and 9 points back. You wonder with Red Bulls focus mostly on Leipzig now what will happen with Salzburg, you would think they will still be competitive in Austria and should still be favorites there but it seems like they are going the Porto/Monaco route, buy young and sell big

Scotland.
Finnish league has two games left this season and there is a 4 point gap between 4 teams.

IFK Mariehamn (current leaders) 55 points - would be their first league title.
HJK 54 points
SJK (current champions) 53 points
Ilves 52 points

Interestingly IFK will play against Ilves for their last match.
HJK last two games against Ilves and SJK.

Another awful year for HJK who realistically should be winning pretty much every year due to finances. Apart from last season, they won 6 championships in a row.

Heerenveen quietly putting together a pretty nice season. Definitely didn't expect to see them above PSV at this stage. Sam Larsson and Arber Zeneli have been fantastic. Still have no idea how we managed to hold onto Samba Sam.

Zenit is now tied on points with Spartak. After a slow start, Lucescu looks to have them rolling. 7 more goals than Spartak as well.

Sparta Prague still back at fourth in the Czech league. They fired their coach after losing the derby to Slavia and tried to grab Liberec's, but that didn't work out so they've been several weeks with an actual head coach now. Mlada Boleslav on top right now and Zlin, who only moved up to the top league a couple years ago, are in third.

Hmmm, I know what the crowd thinks is the solution...

Spartak also without their best player for at least a bit. Missing Promes is pretty massive for them I would imagine.

True, missing Promes hurts, but Zenit beat Spartak with him in the lineup. Spartak also lost before that to Ufa with Promes playing. Zenit hasn't lost yet, just had several draws to start the season.

Malmö FF wins the swedish leauge again, Malmö has 3 golds in 4 years. It's not done yet but 7 points ahead of AIK and Peking with 4 games left, no way Malmö will lose this.

I would not be suprised if Malmö makes Champions Leauge again....this team is stronger than the 2014 and 2015 team.

Wiland
Tinnerholm - Bengtsson - Arnasson - Safari
Yotun - Adu - Christiansen - Eikrem
Rosenberg - Berget

Wiland is veteran who has played with FCK and swedish national team.

Bengtsson was good in Eredivisie, Arnasson is great in the Icelandic national team, Safari was good player for Basel. Tinnerholm was one of our best players in Champions League and he has played some games for the Swedish National Team.

Yotun is regular in Peru national team. Adu is part of Ghana national team. Christiansen is part of Denmark national team. Eikrem is part of Norway national team.

Rosenberg played for Ajax and Werder Bremen and did it good. Berget is part of Norway national team.

This is a good team on the same level as Zagreb, Brugge, Anderlecht, FCK etc.

The Asian Champions League will be contested between Al-Ain (UAE) and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors (KOR). Both sides looking for their 2nd Asian CL title. Al-Ain is the club Omar Abdulrahman plays for

Tbf Adu couldn't get anywhere near the Brugge starting eleven, neither could Safari at Anderlecht

Of course that doesn't mean Malmö are worse than either of those, I'd definitely be glad to see them making the CL. Highly enjoyed some of their games especially those against Salzburg :handclap:

Adu was voted the best player in Ghana year 2014 and Safari was a startplayer for Basel.

If we fail to qualify to CL, we could still play in EL.

Big game in Holland today with Feyenoord hosting Ajax. Feyenoord have won every single one of their 9 league games so far and lead Ajax by five points.

Meanwhile in Belgium it's the first matchup between Club Brugge and Anderlecht. Brugge have been ravaged by injuries as of late but can't afford to lose this game, they trail Anderlecht by five points as well.

Infonet Tallinn win their first Estonian title. They are a fairly new club and only made their Euro debut this season. They are owned by some IT businessman hence the name Infonet :D Though a lot of their club members have Russian sounding names too, heck I saw one Estonian already call them a "Russian" club with no fans. They also have two former Ghana World Cup players which is impressive for the Estonian league

And the last placed team in that league hasn't won a game all season and has a goal differential op 15 to 113

Helsingborg lost to Halmstad and is relegated from Swedens top division.

Becuse of this, the hooligans from Helsingborg attacked Jordan Larsson (the son of legend Henrik Larsson).

Spartak Moscow have opened up a six point lead in the RPL table after both Zenit and CSKA dropped points. CSKA in fact are really struggling this season and down to 4th. Despite their big summer spending, Kazan are midtable

Estudiantes lost there 1st game of the season, the only game Ascacibar didn't play in. I don't think that's a coincidence.

This makes me feel like they're not going to let Promes go to Liverpool in the winter (who assisted the only goal of course). :(

Rijeka maintain their six point lead over Dinamo after a 1:1 draw with them in Zagreb, some controversy after the match, Rijeka played most of the second half with 10 men and there was 7 minutes of extra time, Rijeka's president resigned from his position in the FA immediately after the game

Its too bad Rijeka couldn't take advantage of Dinamo dropping points few weeks ago, lead could have been 8 heading into the winter break

Interesting title race developing in Austria; the top four are separated by three points with Strum Graz having a game in hand. Altach are the surprise leaders but they lost to Red Bull Salzburg today, Austria Wien are also in the title picture

In Turkey, Istanbul BB despite dropping points at home maintain their lead in the league after Besiktas were held to a scoreless draw by Fenerbahce. Galatasaray have a chance to move into third place tomorrow. Another interesting title race developing there, all four Istanbul sides involved with IBB being the new kids on the block

Boca win 4-2 at River in a fantastic game :handclap:

Sometimes these superclasicos are physical battles but this was a great 'football' game, plenty of goalscoring chances and River could have easily won it themselves
