As far as restaurants go, Miku by Canada Place

Pricey and busy but great view and unique Japanese food. A nice change from the usual sushi joints in Vancouver. Give it a try for the 1 yr

Was there recently. Granville Island has a great atmosphere in general, for walking around (even more so this time of year, for some reason.) Market is great.

I second Sandbar. Good food, nice and spacious so no elbow grinding. Good view. Primarily seafood. Reasonably priced.

The Sandbar used to have a pretty sweet deal for steamed mussels and a beer during happy hour. Not sure if they have it anymore though, been a while since I've gone.
