Could be worse. In the States, they've been campaigning for 6 months....and their election is next year

If you want to get technical...
The election campaign started 2 or 3 years ago.
That was when I began to see campaign style attack ads on T.V.

Here the thing about this election though:
I have never received that many campaign calls...
Ever.
Honestly...
In my 20 plus years here...
I got 3 federal election calls...
In total.
Now...
I have 3 already...
And there is still about a month to go.


Here is my question:
Do campaign calls really help?
In my experience...
Most people hate it...
And often...
They say they are turned off of a particular candidate...
Because of them.
Why do they continue to do so?


One of them already has an image problem...
As his instagram feed will attest to.

This constant barrage of calls will not help at all.

I get door knocking...
But I am not sure about campaign calls.
Most people I talk to are often annoyed...
Rather than inspired.

Going the way of the dinosaur, in my mind. Most would rather go on living their lives. Seriously, how anyone is not already going to vote be persuaded by a bunch of ****ing signs and billboards? They are just ruining the landscape of Canada and United States for that matter and they make zero difference in the grand scheme of things.
