Stoke me a clipper.

I know nothing about this man.

From elite prospects:
Fantenberg is a defenseman with a good all-around game and two-way ability. Rarely caught out of position defensively, he can also shoot the puck pretty well. Is very good one on one against opponents and plays the body on a regular basis. Is an agile skater, but could improve his speed.
- Erik K. Piri, EP (2015)

Per Fan960 - it's a 3rd round pick if we reach conference finals and he plays in 50% of the games.

Gio - Brodie
Hanifin - Hamonic
Kylington - Andersson
Fantenberg, Prout, Valimaki, Stone

Seems a bit overkill?

edit: Forgot Stone too. lol

I like this as a depth pickup. Is better than Prout. Now we have our vet LHD, let's grab stone for a 1st and Phillips ;)

Overpayment if only because the Flames' drafting in the latter rounds has been tremendous in recent years.

A 4th for muh playoff experience in a sweep is an overpayment. We have Valiev and Taormina at the Heat who could've been called up in a pinch

Those guys aren't NHLers.
According to LA fans, who actually watch the guy; he's been a solid defender for them. They were bummed out that he was the one who left versus guys like Forbort and Neon.

He apparently even played in the top 4 when they needed it and looked fine.

That's a far cry for Valiev and Taormina.

I went to the Kings board and they weren't all that sad to see him go. Just a routine #7

You should go back, because that's what I did too.
There were three types of comments:

"Welp, we got something for nothing, we weren't keeping him anyway.'
'Please be Forbort/Phaneuf'
'Fanta has been a bright spot on the depth D here'

Depth on depth on depth.

Really unremarkable player. Maybe he gets into some games if we play a bigger team in the 1st round. More or less insurance if Kylington or Valimaki struggle, which I guess is possible but I think they're both better than Fantenberg at this point.
