Fanta is Tre's parachute if the kids flounder in the playoffs.

There is no guarantee we will see Stone come the playoffs... Those blood clots can cause muscle death and nerve damage and until he is cleared to actually play a game there is no guarantee.

I’d imagine this is just a move to bolster a pretty weak Stockton blue line for next season. Don’t mind the asking price although I would imagine he could’ve gone cheaper.

He's a left defenseman. Prout is a right defenseman. They're not competing for ice time.

Not necessarily, Fanta plays LD whereas Prout plays RD.

If you’re asking who’s better though, I’d guess Prout based on their pro league experience.

Prout's been pretty solid for his role. Surprisingly good at standing up the line and he's not actually a terrible passer which surprised me.

Every Calgary defender is good at outletting to Gaudreau though. I don't thing he should even play in our bottom 6. That is Stone's spot.
