Blashill is 150-186-51 in 387 games coached in the NHL. That's including this game, which is already undoubtedly in the books.

Hynes is 157-166-45 in 368 games coached in the NHL.

Both have made the playoffs once, both only have 1 playoff win and both went out to Tampa Bay in the first round in 5 games. Only Blashill did it in his first year as a head coach in the NHL and never did it again.

This team seems harder to fix than ours did after Lou, but they do have a few more younger players that seem to be pretty promising than we did at the time.

I gotta figure they'll be in their mid to late 20's before they're really competitive though.

He's been VERY solid as of late.

Although, it helps take away his blemishes when you actually have a goalie that's stopping shots when he's on the ice.

If Domingue or Schneider were in net more often, I'm sure he'd still catch lots of heat.
