I will say though that if you look at Talbot's career in 5 game segments, he only has one or two poor ones per season. Hopefully this is his rough patch.

Yeah I don't know know what's going on. Hate to criticize McDavid but we're not seeing what we saw against the Flames.

He's had his flashes and easily could have had more points tonight, he'll be fine. It's the other passengers that are more concerning (ie Jokinen, Strome, et al)

Yeah, and? It happens. Plenty of "good" teams miss the playoffs. Maybe the players should show up to play up to their ability if they don't want it to happen. If one injury to a no.3 d-man takes you from a 103 point team to a non-playoff team, then really you're not ready as a group, still work to do if that's the case.
