The problem is not Puljujarvi, the problem is the Oilers need to player develop better.

There is more than enough blame to go around with JP. The Oilers are doing an awful job with him, he should be sent down but he doesn't want to go, and it sounds like his agent is using the threat of signing overseas to keep him from going where he should be.

Pulju is absolutely the problem. He is one the least intelligent players to have entered the league in the last couple decades. He epitomizes the strong, fast, athletic but intellectually impaired stereotype. If the IQ is not there, it's not there. There is no way he will be a top 6 forward in the league due to the one deficiency no amount of time can fix. His ceiling is a 3th line grinder who scores roughly 30 points per season.
