Koskinen cannot dress again.
Koskinen cannot dress again.
Koskinen cannot dress again.
Koskinen cannot dress again.
Koskinen cannot dress again.
Koskinen cannot dress again.

I don't know what it will take these brainlets to understand he's not an NHL goalie, but is that clear enough? If Skinner is not at least the backup in Game 2, I'm out for the rest of the series because it will be clear Holland and Woody are not interested in dressing the best players at the most important time of year.
Even with Smith absolutely crapping the bed, I still hated Koskinen going in. How do you not make one single important stop?

Let’s not kid ourselves here, both of these teams had the advantage of playing against the easiest opponents in the first round. Neither team is going anywhere after this series and will be blown up by Colorado.

This is a fact. Even if we do beat Calgary, our defence and goaltending is getting eaten alive by Colorado

This is a game both teams walk away pissed off from. Both coaches will not be happy.

The Lames will be happy they won, but their D and goaltending was completely exposed.

The Oilers didn't show up for large portions of this game and were buoyed by 2 or 3 guys having great games.

The Oilers will get goaltending, The Flames will get goaltending.

Friday, will be a completely different game.

And of course Sutter puts out the clown show to end it. Need to remember that and motivate us. Burn the game tape and get prepared for game 2. A lot of guys need to reach down and find their balls.
We need the game tape. They need to find a way to snuff out Calgary's cycle game. They generate far too many grade A chances from it.

If they can, we can beat Calgary assuming Markstrom is pooched.

They have went after McDavid all night. Did we even hit any of Gaudreau/Tkachuk/Lindholm at all tonight?

They wanted it more tonight. A lot more
Did we have 10 hits in the entire game?

That was the most gutless, spineless, lazy first half this group has played in a while. Entirely on the f***ing players for their complete and utter lack of mental prep in order to be ready. How the f*** are these million dollar assholes paid to play a f***ing game and they can't even do that?

The herculean effort to come back is a waste. They shouldn't have put themselves behind the eight ball like that in the first place, and all the f***ing empty platitudes about showing resilience, and fighting back etc... is a god damned joke. Even Draisaitl and McDavid were gifting pucks all over the place, in high danger areas in the neutral for quick turnovers... How in the f*** are you NOT prepared by now, after going to 7 in a tough series for us against LA, and come out with that sloppy, lazy, unconcerned shite of a performance like that? How are those shitty habits not ground out of their game by now? They shit the bed a couple of times against LA and should have learned their lesson.

Unf***ing real how content most of that lineup seemed just to get to the second round. Big f***ing deal, assholes...

it was 6-6 so dropping it 6-9 is a massive disappointment

they literally tied it up and re-started playing like shit again

It's not the Oilers playing like shit once they tie it up. It was the Flames realizing that they had packed it in a little early and needed to try a little harder to put the Oilers away.

This game was over after the first 2 shifts. It was never remotely in question. Not even when they tied it up at 6. Calgary toyed with Edmonton all night.
