Gallant has to be an option, no?

Ward is not the guy. Hell, I'm not sure if the "guy" exists to be quite frank.

The make up of this team is flawed. We don't have a #1C, and that has been Calgary's problem for decades.

But even if we are willing to overlook that, the rest of the team is not consistent enough.

We have a decent D, but they don't show up every night.

We have decent forward depth, but they don't show up every night.

We have decent goal tending, but they don't show up every night.

What we seem to have is a lazy ass team. They put forth an effort when they see fit.

This year is playing out exactly like last year. We went on a hot streak that allowed us to ride into the playoffs.

This year the streak wasn't as long and the playoffs are in doubt. Look at January.....it was pathetic.

This team is mentally fragile, and we can stop with the "they're young, they'l figure it out" bullshit. They aren't young anymore.

Our best players are not good enough, it's that simple. So in order to win they have to play as a team...see the Islanders/Blue Jackets.

We don't have game breakers like McDavid......f*** we don't even have a Drai. We have a couple of soft perimeter players that disappear when it gets tough.

Even if we do make it into the playoffs, no one here really thinks they can do any damage do they? It will be another embarrassing 1st round exit.

And let's say we do pull the plug and tank.....then what? We have one really good player and a bunch of guys that can't get it done.

Christ, look what Edmonton has. Two players that lead the league in scoring and still are "just" in the playoff race. But at least those two players give you a chance to win every night.

We have a team full of "pretty good" players that refuse to play as a team. Therefore, they will go no where.

Is Gallant the answer? Who the f*** knows, but it's pretty clear Ward sure as hell isn't!!

That was embarrassing. Not only did we lose the game, we lost all the fights too!

:baghead:

Everyone is saying this, but Tkachuk definitely didn't lose his fight. Really, it was mainly Talbot that has people thinking that. And also the fact that the Flames were fighting mainly out of frustration, so there's nothing to be proud of either way.

I'd rather send him to the moon instead. Seriously, what a useless POS. :madfire:
Give the man some credit. He has principle. He won't fight his former teammates and friends.

I thought when you are fighting to keep your career, principle is out of the window but he still has it LMFAO.

Blame should really goes to the wizard for getting us another softie....for another 4 years...f*** off and resign trevling
