Good win. Well played game. Nilsson great again. Eberle with a great shootout goal. Oh, and Zdeno Chara is still easily a top pairing d-man. I remember people arguing in the off-season that he was done. Dude's still a beast on the ice.

Nilsson with a killer performance.
I am hoping Eberle feels like that is a monkey off of his back.

The end of the third wasn't exactly a good performance. They truly should have scored in OT a few times, but take what you can get.

It appears that we should establish the equivalent of the DH in baseball. Make Eberle the designated shoutout specialist. Only sees the ice if we get to a shootout.

We're 2-1-1 in our last four games.

Points in three out of four, not too shabby. :handclap:

People shouldn't complain over who the coaches send out on shootout. They do practice this stuff. They know who's the hot hand in practices.

Might be one for our top top line. Shows them other people can score. Might be a little stress off of them.

Eberle was getting crapped on all night in the GDT, but the Hall-Draisaitl-Eberle line created a lot of chances all night. Eberle played a strong game. He's the whipping boy right now along with Nuge, but there was nothing wrong with his game tonight.

A bit too sloppy in the 3rd but take the 2 points and run. They need to get some wins regardless of how they get them.
Good to see the hard workers get rewarded with goals.

Nuge and Eberle still fighting it big time, it's hard to watch. The effort level with those two isn't close to where it should be.

Nilsson looks really good. Still need a bigger sample size to be fully confident, been burned before.
