I was surprised to see them favored as much as they were before the game. Germany has a decent squad, especially for the quality of this year's tournament.
Russia found the solution: no one.
Zub 8:04, 10 shiftsThis is beyond bonkers. Is it a wonder he's so self-assured and set in his ways?
Zadorov 9:07, 10 shifts
Gavrikov 7:16, 14 shifts
Ozhiganov 3:28, 6 shifts
Rafikov 2:17, 4 shifts
Provorov 36:34, 51 shifts
It's been a very strange oneUSA surprisingly sitting at the top of the tournament standings currently.

Been catching highlights on IIHF's YouTube:Even coming into this their goaltending was pretty strong on paper regardless of circumstances. Pettersen, Oettinger, & Stolarz was pretty good & that’s turned out that way even with Stolarz getting hurt.
They probably have/had enough higher end talent upfront for this tournament with Robertson, Garland, & Lebanc.
Antony Stolarz injured either his knee of ankle. Hope he's alright.

Chuck was right again!
They really didn't let Hischier shoot?Noebels just scored a "Forsberg" game winning shoout out goal to advance Germany to SF.
If only Chuck Fletcher drafted him!
