They obviously have the deepest talent pool of all the countries so they can mitigate it better than everybody else but looks like Canada could be struggling to get commitments too.

Not sure. Chris Drury is the GM.

Canada is apparently taking Corban Knight. So this might just ultimately be the draw this year with Covid.

If I was a GM for these teams I much rather take some younger non-NHL guys who might have a chance to play in a best on best tournament one day over these veteran non-NHLers though.

They surprisingly got a good goaltending trio under these circumstances. It would be pretty solid even under normal standards.

The defense is brutal though. The forward at least have some talent in Garland, Robertson, & Labanc.

Looking at the overseas rosters & they’re just as bad relatively speaking compared to the North American ones.

I think you have to quarantine for a certain amount of time prior to joining the teams so not sure how many reinforcements will be coming.
