I'd love to have that pick but #61 doesn't belong to Calgary. Traded to the NYI in the Hamonic deal.

"The Calgary Flames' second-round pick will go to the New York Islanders as the result of a trade on June 24, 2017 that sent Travis Hamonic and a conditional fourth-round pick in 2019 to Calgary in exchange for a first and second-round pick in 2018 and this pick (being conditional at the time of the trade). The condition – New York will receive a second-round pick in 2019 if Calgary does not qualify for the 2018 Stanley Cup playoffs– was converted on March 26, 2018."

Thank you for your honesty, I didn't even notice!

:coyotes continue their quest towards adding high-upside offensive prospects and are happy to select, playing for LeKi and coming off the best U-18 Mestis season ever, forward Patrik Puistola.

PatrikPuistola1.jpg

Puistola is a dangerous forward with tremendous hand-eye coordination and a deceptive shot. Possessing great awareness, he loves to position himself in the slot and can stick-handle his way close to net, in traffic, to finish plays. Excellent in puck-battles, especially one-on-one, he's strong, solid on his skates for his age.

The Rangers are proud to select, from Baie-Commeau in the QMJHL, Nathan Legare!

PM sent

I think Legare fits in nicely with the pain in the ass team Rangers are building. Guy is a power forward who loves to hang around the net and score goals. He's a guy who's been rising up the rankings all year because of his competitiveness and goal scoring. Needs to work on his skating, but it isn't terrible.

With Legare, Lemieux, Kravstov, Andersson, Chytil and very likely Kaako (NJ is expected to take Hughes), the Rangers are not going to be a fun team to play against very very soon. They all play with jam and go hard to the net.

Good pick.

The habs are proud to select with the 46th pick from Kelowna Rocket (WHL) Kaedan Korczak.

He's a 6'2 RHD with a solid game and some untapped potential.

"The 6-foot-2 blueliner is a very smooth skater who won’t wow you very often, but is more than capable at both ends of the ice. He has a strong first pass, is physical when he needs to be and can chip in offensively when called upon. Korczak is also a great 1-on-1 defender. This season, he was named the Rockets’ top defenceman"
