Question - is ticketmaster price whats considered face value for playoffs? Regular season tickets come printed with the 2 prices but playoffs don't.

I have 2nd row greens in centre ice. Looks like TM price is $395 per seat.
You got really ripped off bad. I am in row 1 at at $193 per ticket.

Ticketmaster face value for single game is hugely marked up for good reason. Dynamic pricing really gets you and if you’re trying to get more than 1 (ie a pair) those go like hotcakes. Subscriber prices are nice, my goal is one day I somehow get season tickets to the leafs!

I have never used this thread before to buy tickets but I thought idea was selling them at cost so you get your money back when you can't go but I could have the rules of thread wrong maybe it is different for post season. Enjoy the game! I am going with da wife. Too expensive to bring the kids.

That is the idea.
I would never sell mine here, StubHub is so much easier.

Do you get American money on StubHub for your tickets?

I ask, because every time I look to buy tickets from the app, everything is listed in USD

Yes, I do.
I have a US Bank account that I transfer the sale into.
I keep the money aside for US road trips.

Driving down to Boston on Thursday morning and got Ticketmaster tickets in row 10 behind net lower level for $195 like 3 weeks ago
It’s actually much cheaper to go on Stubhub or other resale sites rather than pay Ticketmaster box office prices. Season ticket holders get like 50% off box office prices so they usually sell for less. Got game 1 lower level center ice 12 rows up for $250 total, same seat for game 2 for $300.

Probably I got mine from same guy I got them from last year same seats on Ticketmaster. He told me he made like $25 a ticket profit and he seems like a stand up guy when I met him last year. But you can never know it is too long a trip east to not be 1000% sure you got them so Ticketmaster is safer.

Yeah i agree - when I buy from Stubhub or wherever I always make sure it’s a transfer thru Ticketmaster so I know I can get in with no hassles. The barcode gets renewed so no one can duplicate and get in with your ticket except you.

GTA or the UK
No, dynamically priced. There is no longer any "face value" of a Leaf ticket. Each ticket is priced relative to the secondary market. The Leafs want their piece of that pie.

It's why you may see seats available on game day, whereas in years passed they would have been snatched up immediately. A ticket available on Ticketmaster these days is akin to a ticket available on StubHub. Priced too high to be immediately snatched.

The secondary market is still higher than Ticketmaster - the tickets I got for game 3 are considerably lower than what I'm seeing on StubHub.

Even if there's "dynamic pricing", Ticketmaster are still selling tickets at much lower than what the secondary market is, which remains uncontrolled.
