Looked very dangerous on the PP.
My hope is Kylington isn't used as a 3rd pairing PP specialist. Right now he looks like he's being used as a 2nd pairing guy; didn't play on the PK.

Oliver strikes me as a guy who is going to have some crazy possession numbers. The puck is in and out of his zone fast. When he's on the ice there are a lot of shots generated.

Had a nice little offensive sequence a couple minutes ago.

Sweden easily rolls over the Danes. Kylington with kind of a weird game. About the most Kylington game you can draw out. Terrible turnover in the first few minutes of the game, regains the puck and fires a beautiful breakaway pass. Offensively played well, he likes the puck a lot; walks the line really well.

Didn't really stand out though. He doesn't play the PK, but is on the 1st unit PP and gets a lot of OZ starts. Couple rough defensive plays. Was on the ice for the goal scored, but his play on the goal wasn't a factor.

On to the Fox! And Parsons.

He definitely has skills...just hope the Flames know how to develop him cause he has some major flaws

Parsons only face 11 shots, but he had a beauty of a blocker save with less than 5 to go in the 3rd.

Kylington isn't being used as a 3rd pairing PP specialist OR a 2nd pairing guy. He's being used as their #1 All-Situations D-man. He also did play on the PK. Seems he's on the 2nd PK unit but he was out there for every PK Sweden had.

He played the most minutes in today's game among Sweden players (20:35) and also had the most shifts among all players (32).

Kylington played excellent from what I saw. I watched the whole game and he only had 2 or 3 bad shifts (2 of which came early in the 1st and 2nd periods). He was involved in all aspects of the game and was very noticeable out there (in a good way minus the bad turnover during his first shift). Was definitely Sweden's best D-man throughout the game.

I counted Stockton dmen's corsi last year for a few nights and he was okay.

I didn't think he was too bad in this game, aside from his first shift. Also, like YourAverageFan said he played the PK and IMO did a ok job. I don't think he's all that bad in his zone as much as he tends to make boneheaded plays in the NZ.

Very well. Created a number of great scoring chances with his pinpoint passing. Had the 2nd most ice time amongst USA D-men (only McAvoy played more). Didn't see him make any mistakes

Agreed. Fox looked pretty good out there. Excited to see what he can do in a few years.

I made my first post about my fear of him playing 3rd pairing PP specialist minutes about 6 minutes into the game  I'm happy they used him a lot.

I missed him out on the PK I guess :dunno:

I like what he did in the offensive zone tonight though, so damn confident.

I'd be interested to see his corsi this season, it looks like he's made significant strides.

Keep your eyes on that Kaprizov guy. He was putting up better numbers then Tarasenko and Kuznetsov in their KHL days and he already has 7 points in 2 games.

Dube looks like he could turn into an effective bottom six guy with a bit of skill. Always seems to be generating something whenever he's on the ice. Great looking prospect for us.

Dube reminds me of Frolik. He's pretty fast. But the thing that stands out to me is that he is a relentless forechecker and he knows where on the ice to go when he's without the puck which gives the opposing defencemen trouble. That said I don't think he has a ton of offensive upside.
