Those are the players you have to work with so use them and turn a major weakness (down the middle) into a one that can at least compete.

They've tried Miller at center numerous times. It just doesn't work for him. It takes away his board work and puts a leash on him from working too deep in the o-zone.

Playing Zbad and Hayes/DD as top centers hasn't exactly worked either.
I'd rather put Miller in there and give him a little more time to see if he can run with it.

At best he turns out to be exactly what I think he could be....a 4th line center. But that is about as high as what I see of him.

Im not quite sure why other than the current crop of centers hasnt particularly worked. If you want to try it now, why not, but lets not pretend this was a ludicrous decision at the beginning of the season - Miller has shown the propensity of being a ticking time bomb in the defensive zone and this team has enough of that.

Our record wouldn't be any worse if AV would stick with consistent lines and defensive pairings and let them gel. Miller should be a center on this team. Moving him around isn't helping him and obviously isn't the answer for the team either. And, imho, Lettieri should have gotten the call.

Zucc is already an RW and is probably better than Zibanejad at their respective positions, certainly better than Zbad at RW. And we need Zbad at center badly.
