A place.
He won't Hit FA, i think he still has a year left on his deal. He is likely a trade candidate. I bet philly would trade out of the ass for him.

Also i want Philly to offer sheet Rask for the lol

No way in hell the Pens deal him to anyone in their division. in fact I doubt they would deal him to anyone in their conference.

Richards Extended One Year

Now watch Bob going to the KHL. :sarcasm:

Well whatever.

Just a step closer to a KHL vs NHL world and then we'll have a World-wide Trophy finals.

Oh god no. We'd have to wait several days between venue changes due to jet lag, and then the games on the KHL side of it would probably be on at what, 6am? Screw that.

Richards worked his magic last year. Maybe we can work out a trade for Yeo.

I feel that Richards would get us to the cup finals and then out of spire inspire a non obvious dive, like we're up 3 games to none, up by 4 with two min left in game 4, and then we collapse and lose in 7. Of course he'd have to watch some tape on why it happen.

Doesn't a player have to actually sign an offer sheet for his current team to make the decision on him (whether to take the picks or match the offer)?

"Offer sheet" is just a term that is used. Once free agency starts RFA's are allowed to negotiate the same way that UFA's are. The only difference is that if a RFA signs a contract, the team that holds his rights gets the chance to match the contract.

They don't negotiate the full contract, remember last year Shea Webber didn't get a NTC as part of his offer sheet. they agree on some terms but the rest of the deal is done upon completion (matched or compensation accepted)

I am nowhere near a CBA expert, but I would be willing to bet that you're wrong about the full contract. Maybe a NTC is something that can be added after the fact, but I do believe that they do in fact negotiate the full contract. To use Weber again as an example, Nashville didnt have any problems with the term or dollar amount of Webers deal, it was how the money was paid out in the contract that made them think about it.

Part of me wants them to stay, because we know what it's like to lose an NHL team. The other part of me wants it over and done with and for them to move, because they've practically had special favors from the league for so freaking long, and yet it remained nearly empty.

The likely resolution tonight for the Yotes is not likely.

A yes vote does nothing but keep it alive and push it down the road. I hope they are heading my way but not counting on it.

I'd like to see the Coyotes move to hockey country. There are a lot of snowbirds and geezers there that like hockey, but ....

I lived in the Valley of the Sun for 4 years, and they had the Roadrunners minor league team.

Once, I was there with my wife, the Roadrunners were losing 7 - 0, and in the 3rd period a goon came out, started a fight, became a brawl: they got a standing ovation, losing 7-0.

Another time, I had friends from Minneapolis come and visit. We started tailgating, and security came out and made us put out our fire and dump our beer. We had just bought tickets, so we went inside and proceeded to be loud all night, even though we were sober.

Former Gopher goalie John Blue was in net for one of the teams, so we started chanting " BLOOOOOO" in high pitched voices, and Link Gaetz was given the same treatment. No profanity, just silliness.

We were escorted by security to the exits in the 3rd period, for being too loud I guess.

I don't like desert hockey.
