He won't Hit FA, i think he still has a year left on his deal. He is likely a trade candidate. I bet philly would trade out of the ass for him.
Also i want Philly to offer sheet Rask for the lol
Just a step closer to a KHL vs NHL world and then we'll have a World-wide Trophy finals.
Richards worked his magic last year. Maybe we can work out a trade for Yeo.

Doesn't a player have to actually sign an offer sheet for his current team to make the decision on him (whether to take the picks or match the offer)?

"Offer sheet" is just a term that is used. Once free agency starts RFA's are allowed to negotiate the same way that UFA's are. The only difference is that if a RFA signs a contract, the team that holds his rights gets the chance to match the contract.
They don't negotiate the full contract, remember last year Shea Webber didn't get a NTC as part of his offer sheet. they agree on some terms but the rest of the deal is done upon completion (matched or compensation accepted)
This headline and subhead seems to suffice:
NHL: Phoenix Coyotes await key vote
Glendale approval of lease would clear path for deal to stay in Phoenix. No vote likely means relocation.

http://twitter.com/JoshRimerHockey/status/352123240568729600Been told by a 2nd NHL Source that they believe Vinny is going to Dallas Stars. Spoke to Stars and they still haven't heard anything.
