except that this is not really a normal injury or even really an injury at allPlayer don't just sit out for the sake of sitting out so they don't get injured.
If he's healthy, he's going to play

Depends on how Grant plays the next couple weeks, if Grant is solid, then you have your physical 3C. In which case they may let Patrick play a few games, then have him sit for the playoffs.
Speak of the devil.
Hayes on maintenance day.
Patrick at 2C with Laughton and Konecny.
Is this the real life?!
omg seriously!?Speak of the devil.

As someone who has and had dealt with chronic migraine issues it's not surprising at all. The problem is the name and what people perceive it to be basically just real bad headaches is not very accurate. How many 21 year olds have gone on disability leave for an entire year of work for migraines, even in contact sports?
Leave it to the Flyers to hit this infinitesimal percentage.
I’m no medical doctor (& I haven’t seen his records even if I were) but the sad thing is the strangeness of the situation makes one wonder if there could be other aspects to it. No, I don’t think that’s the probable truth at all. But I know I’m not the only person who’s had passing thoughts like, “Is this the full story? Is there some mental stuff contributing here?”
Is this the real life?!
If Derek Grant or Scott Laughton or anyone or anything else other than his medical situation enters into the equation of whether or not to play Nolan Patrick, that's grounds for termination for everyone that signed off on it. I mean that with zero hyperbole. It's beyond irresponsible and begging for litigation.
Haha Hayes has been killing it but this looks sexier. Does this imply cleared for contact?Speak of the devil.

He had the same color jersey on as GirouxHaha Hayes has been killing it but this looks sexier. Does this imply cleared for contact?
I agree that if he's cleared and good to go, he should play. But I don't quite see how healthy scratching him would be grounds for litigation. It's a roster choice that happens virtually every night in the NHL.
Hopefully he’s headed to the AHL soon. That’s when we should really excited. He had the same color jersey on as Giroux
It's not that I don't believe you but I just need pics as proof unless I'm missing a joke hereHe had the same color jersey on as Giroux

I don’t have twitter so I can’t say more but if you google Nolan Patrick there is a Jordan hall tweet that has G and Patrick practicing after practice in the same color orange jerseyIt's not that I don't believe you but I just need pics as proof unless I'm missing a joke here
They don't do line rushes in skills sessions though do they?Unless it's another one of those "skills" sessions where there's no contact anyway, this is a very huge development!
My excitement threshold was always contact. If he's cleared he could be ready to go for the stretchiest stretch of the stretch run....I love seeing Patrick skating and with the bois, however my excitement level about him returning only changes when I see him assigned to the Phantoms
Yeah that's how I felt until they confirmed they'd send him to the Phantoms firstMy excitement threshold was always contact. If he's cleared he could be ready to go for the stretchiest stretch of the stretch run....
