Gotta give huge props to the Cubs, they got through two of the best teams in their own division to get to the NLCS.

Hats and t-shirts for winning the DS? Jeez lol. Baseball is so watered down.

Props to the Cubs, though. They beat the best team in baseball.

Not only are the Cubs in the NLCS. But they did so by dispatching the #1 seed and their arch rival.

Sadly it appears Cubs may be team of destiny

I don't see anyone left in playoff field that will be favored to beat them

Awful to see happen but it appears this is Cubs year

God dammit... Wrigley is ****ing out of control right now. I live 2 miles away and can hear the party like it's in my back alley.

Congrats Cubs for making it through.

If the Jays don't go all the way, easily my next in line Fav.

Best of luck in the NLCS. Question now...will Mr. Bartman be in the house?.....I kid....somewhat :sarcasm:

I agree to an extent but with baseball winning a playoff series really is a potentially big thing and even sometimes once in lifetime moment

Unless your team is consistently great like Yanks/Red Sox then ALDS/NLDS is pretty big moment as fan

I remember being very thrilled when White Sox dispatched the Red Sox in 05. Had never seen a playoff series win and it instantly wiped away the disappointment that was 93 and 00 ,,,, As well as made me forget the Bevington era and other such low points

Can anyone possibly hate this team? Just a bunch of kids playing baseball.

Yes, I realize that sounded really meatballish.

They had a dance party in the dugout in the 8th... love it!

It just feels like this might be the year for the Cubs. They seem to have the pieces and they got hot at the right time.

I don't like the Cubs really but what a story it would be. It's been 107 years hasn't it? Let em have this one and then let it be another 107 years before the next one.
