I expect 97 points from our Russian overlord.
No more. No less.

Gusev was fantastic tonight, it looked like there were 50 of him out there when he was on the ice.
Exactly why I was praying the Devils would be the team to sign him.
What gets me is how effortless and casual it looked.his shot pass for the OT winner was disgusting
His vision is fantastic, he makes it look like he is going to shoot and then makes a great dangle or a fantastic pass. He will be fun to watch.
its the shero 2/3 specialThere’s no surprise, he’s a legit superstar who dominated on every level he has played at so far. The Devils got themselves an elite level player for basically nothing.
No one told us that Gusev was legit Hughes twin brother out there...... my God, looks like they've been playing together for...forever.
At least, that's what 1 (preseason) game has showed us.
Yeah that goal was him. Hughes finished but the pass was the thing.his shot pass for the OT winner was disgusting

This Russian stud will be a superstar. Shame the Devils only were able to sign him for 2 years, because in 10 months from now we are going to be begging for Shero to extend him with an AAV around 8-10 million.

Depending on when you do your draft..... My league doesn't draft until sometimes the last minute. Too much time for others to see or hear what we see.If you're in a fantasy league, take Gusev in a later round, he'll still be available.
You're welcome.
I bet he's taken earlier than you think, if he just played meh hockey to this point you'd be right, but people are noticing and talking about him.If you're in a fantasy league, take Gusev in a later round, he'll still be available.

My money is a lot of the fantasy experts everyone listens to will put him in the category of low risk, high reward and suggest grabbing him earlier than projected.NHL.com has him currently ranked #206. Depends how savvy / sophisticated the people in your league are I guess.
