If Toronto doesn't get one of the spots, I can see Chicago being the "east" city since the case data for Illinois is looking better.

But, I don't even know if that's a consideration in this.

This whole arrangement is about saving money IMO:

Vegas hub - Let MGM pay for everything/give us ridiculous discount
Canadian hub - Pay $0.73 on the dollar for everything

With that in mind, I think Chicago is ahead of LA, and would make far more sense for Eastern travel than having Vegas and LA as the two.

Really don't want a HUB city in Toronto. Ontario is on the decline in cases, and now we will have a bunch of people from the US coming to the hotels where they will be in contact with maids, cooks, etc. while in "quarantine". Seems like a bad idea to me.
