So the NHL is not naming players who test positive. What happens when they go to phase 3 and certain players aren't at training camp? Like even now I'm peaking through the practice photos and going, ok we know Kane and DeBrincat don't have COVID, they're at optional practice. I mean at some point there will be a process of elimination so I'm not sure how they will handle that.

They should just stop testing, because then no one would be sick.

That can't be right, considering there's only two Canadian cities left (unless the NHL is going way, way off the grid with the fourth city).

There may be multiple games a day, from what I have heard.

With only two sites they’re playing at I don’t see how they could squeeze all these games in without each arena hosting 4-5 games a day for the first week or two at the least.

Yeah, with 2-3 games per day in each rink and time needed to clear teams in and out, plus account for possible OT, you're probably looking at Noon, 3, 6, & 9 CT starts.

Could be an amazing 4 weeks of up to 4 games per day if they do it right.

With 12 teams per site, 4-5 a day isn't needed.

Qualifiers example

Day 1:
1 vs 4 Round Robin
5 vs 12
6 vs 11

Day 2:
2 vs 3 Round Robin
7 vs 10
8 vs 9

Day 3:
Round Robin OFF
5 vs 12
6 vs 11

Day 4:
1 vs 3 Round Robin
7 vs 10
8 vs 9

Etc etc.
