Yorktown was dead in the water at Coral Sea and at Midway and got steam up after repairs. When your power goes off and you are not making way, you are dead in the water. When you have lost all wind and have no motor you are dead in the water. Would you prefer adrift? I dont feel any maneuvering power. Doomed I dont feel.

With a number of players out on COVID, injury or illness, I think they needed someone to fill in as they only had 17 skaters for practice. He was replaced by Rikola (?) on call up today, I think I read.

No different to having the video coach fill in for a goaltender at practice.

They're moving a Broons-Habs game from Mtl to Bsn and the teams' match in Mtl will be played at a later date (assuming that's possible). Meaning disruptions to Bsn STHers' plans as well as Mtl ticketholders. Will ticketholders be offered refunds if they're holding tix to games that get rescheduled?
The league is trying to muddle thru but much pain to be spread around.

Seriously doubt it. At best, I could see a swap for another game, but seats not guaranteed, option.

League-wide the last 4 days has been crazy, FLA 9-3 over TB, SJ/ARI was 8-7, during Caps/Preds game they were saying Tues was 3 gms with 33 goals between 'em

And eight more Canada-based games ppd due to home jurisdictions' capacity limits. NHL postpones eight more Canadian-hosted games - TSN.ca Original dates thru Jan 16. Daly gave a rosy "we can do a full season and award the Cup in June" i-view yesterday. Maybe, but looking less and less likely.
