So Vault shows now archived games only 48hours after the game? the condensed games also shows just "buffering" atm

Sounds like Viasat/Medge is messing that together with NHL. FOKK'EM ALL!!!

I am very disappointed.

Well this Vault deal was too good to be true...One month 5 dollars and watched few games...I guess I cancel it before next month kicks in.

Anyone with experience from Hockeystreams.com?

For me it looks like this is the best offer available?
My experience with it was 2 seasons ago...Stream quality isn't very good plus they used to have huge server problems --> streams buffering. Don't buy season pass before you try shorter deals

There is no vagueness as to what it will cost. Viasat will be a skin for broadcasting the GCL signal just as ESPNplayer was a skin for broadcasting the GCL signal. There will be no separate cheaper Viaplay NHL-streaming service. Why would there? They want to force people to use their more expensive services. It's not the end of the world to pay the extra money if you enjoy Premier League and Champions League, but if you pretty much only want to watch NHL, it is a massive price hike.

I'm more annoyed that I have to pay for something I already have on TV once again on the web. If didn't I would be very happy with the price as I want those other things aswell.

Same with Finland, Norway and Denmark. No one knows atm.

It still works for me so I'm happy with that. I assume that from next season we will have to get the Viasat package but for this season I hope that we're safe. Actually, how can they just transfer everybody onto Viaplay?

For those of us who were able to sign up for GCL before they made it unavailable to scandinavians:

"Hello ,

Since you were able to previously sign up, then you will still have access to the NHL GameCenter Live. This is because you had signed up for the service before the limitations were placed on certain countries, so your account has fortunately been grandfathered in. Enjoy the 2011-2012 season!"

My friend claimed that unless we actively cancel our subscriptions, it will still be available for us next season. For now that's purely speculation on his part, even though it does make sense.

So if a pay 199 sek a month I can watch any Kings game through viaplay. Right?

If quality is good I'm okay with it. And no ****ing blackouts-

This is the first time I can admit.... I'm jealous.

Vault condensed and archived games for 19th and 18th October don't work atm. That's not what they advertised at least with condensed ones. I'm going to ask my money back even though it's just 5$ and cancel it. It's good bye Vault after this Viasat deal.

I'm so effin pissed off atm

LOL NHL customer service page doesn't even work

How? A promotion code to viaplay probably. But I really don't see them go through the trouble with transfering all these accounts. Viasat's Swedish sport chief said they would though, but couldn't answer on when or how.

We shouldn't have to open our wallets again this season, at least.

Definitely not. I'd prefer to keep GCL as it is this season, and then consider the options when the season's over.

LOL.

I also just sent the support a message and received a reply in like two minutes :amazed: Actually I got two replies. The first was identical to yours and the other was this:

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We have reported the issues with the archives from the 18th and 19th to our streaming department and we hope to have that correct soon.

So I guess they really didn't know anything was wrong. Next time I'll contact them sooner if there are issues. :)

Vault

Vault is still down...

I managed to talk to customer support yesterday and they assured me that this had nothing to do with Viaplay now being established in Scandanavia. They said it was merely a coincidence and are trying to fix the problem with the archives...hopefully things work out here...get on it!

Meanwhile, NHL pats themselves on their backs for how awesome they are. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=596760

"European players applaud NHL-MTG broadcast deal"

I guess they wouldn't be applauding if they factored in the huge delay to even settle the deal 2-3 weeks into the season and that the service seems pretty horrible. Not to mention 199 SEK a month is daylight robbery.

The games are available now, but they're buffering like crazy and sometimes stop altogether so you have to start over again.

Luckily I have Nelonen Pro 1 included in my tv-channel package atm 20eur/month...not sure how long though...plus Nelonen Pro 2 have been in free showing this month in my cable...so I'll at least see Ducks games this weekend. But the future is what pisses me off. Viasat "gold" package costs 30eur/month here. Movies, porn, NHL, Nascar, NFL. I like them all...I guess I have to rethink  though the quality worries me...

edit. But I will not do anything untill I know will the Viaplay get included in viasat gold package and what the player will be like.

I thoroughly enjoy the Premier League. Guess who owns the rights to the Premier League in Norway? Yep, NOT Viasat.
So double the price for me.
At least now I know what my share of our oil money will be spent on ;) Hmmm, maybe this is all a big plot set up by the swedes to take over our oil fund, one small bit at a time...
No offence to anyone, but I'm actually starting to see the humour in all this.

Vault still up and buffering by the way, takes me a couple of hours to watch one period.

Geez I think some people need to take a chill pill, it's obviously a technical issue which they're trying to fix. Have a little patience eh, and don't blow a gasket. For the measly sum of $5 a month for every NHL game in the calendar, I'm willing to be a bit gracious when they suffer a bit of technical difficulty...
