Is that Pietrangelo as the best, or just a list?
Now that I look more I'm really hoping it's just a list.
To be fair, Weber hasn't played a lot recently, so that might skew the results. Couple that with the NHL network not being the smartest anyways.
First name alphabetical order.
Didn't even notice it that way.
Karlsson for me. Also yeah Weber should be there, it's a top 25 dman list, the guy should be there.
Taking nothing away from Chabot, but top 25 already?
55 points in 70 games. That's really impressive in a terrible team. He has no business in top 10-15 but top 25 for sure.
Yeah I think OEL should be over him.
Weber's injury overlapped the first month of last season. But after missing the first five weeks he returned and had a better season than a few players on the list above. He should be on it.
Tyson Barrie and Torey Krug are not top 25 defensemen in my opinion.
OEL is trash though.
Alexa, where is Ryan McDonagh?
They couldn't even get that right. Alphabetical should be by last name. Duh.
Heiskanen had a nice rookie year, but he absolutely does not belong here.
Couple of names I don't really agree with, but I'd be really interested to see how they rank them.
I think that Morrissey is better than Byfuglien or Trouba. He isn’t as flashy as those two, but he’s a better D-man.
That question should be applied to guys like Werenski and McAvoy before Chabot.
I see the Jets play live multiple times every season, as well as a fair amount of coverage due to my region, and the above is really not up for debate at this point.
A lot of projecting with that group.
Not a terrible list, but none of Buf, Heiskanen or Barrie belong on here.
Kudos to the Islanders who were the best defensive team in the NHL last season but don’t have anyone in the top 25 on defense.
Offense from the backend is weighted heavily, that’s probably why some of these names are here
Agreed ... but I don't have to like it.
In fairness, they won with team defense. It wasn't one particular defenseman who stood out night after night as a dominant #1D.
Separate names with a comma.
