As I wait for my other favorite team to come into being, at least I'll have the hilarity of this thread to keep me going.

Is it 2021 yet?:skeptic:

It's still so far away. :(

Ugh, I'm way too impatient for this ****. At least we have Carter.

But on that magical day, we get to watch the amazing Andy Mac join our new home team--the Grungy Starbucks of Seattle!
I wonder if Edmonton will gift us Lucic in a similarly generous move.:naughty:

Just crossed my mind. Flyers sign BOB but with no NMC/NTC that essentially makes it a three year deal because Seattle would almost surely take him. Carter hart should be fully ready at that time.
It's not a bad idea but it's pretty risky if Bob plays the way he has this season rather than the previous two years. They would have to be smart and make sure they front load a lot of the salary so that if Seattle doesn't take him it would be easier to trade him to a cap floor team. A 6 year deal at $9m per where the Flyers would pay ~$26 of the $54m contract in the first two seasons ($7m average salary the last 4 seasons with a $9m hit) would look a lot more reasonable for a team to take a chance on him if he doesn't play well here.
