I didn't get to see it, but the Alumni Game between the Wings and Avs was apparently pretty special. Both Draper and Ciccarelli made their peace with Claude Lemieux in the handshake line, letting bygones be bygones.

Wonder if 20 years from now we'll get an alumni game with Marchand and Lucic chumming it up with the likes of the Sedins and Alex Burrows? (Granted it was only one series.)

Zibanejad decided to one-up his old JWC teammate by scoring his natural hat trick in team record time, and in the same arena he had the OT gold winner. Team record is pretty special, considering that the league record likely will never be broken.

Phil, Pit, Det, NYR, and Ott all won their games over their Western Conference opponents.

Habs got 2 points outta the Leafs. And Florida still picked up 1 point in a SO loss to CBJ.

I guess I'm just not convinced that the Hawks would take the Caps in 6 games. Maybe 7. Getting a lil' help from the officiating too, IMO.

Playoff style game today. Enjoyed it.

I think the tipping point would be Holtby or how much do Refs swallow their whistles.

I love Hawks heavy game.

Saw 3 things in Washington Vs Hawks did not like..(1) Caps on a powerplay and Hawks getting another and Ovechkin burns 20 seconds not being smart enough to give puck up for 5 on 3.Selfish player.
(2) Beauty shoulder to shoulder hit by Oshie and 2 mins.Refs are bad.
(3) Last 8 secs left and whistle in Hawks end and no timeouts called but refs give Hawks 33 seconds to rest.You could see Duncan Keith on one knee gassed .lol ..Guess who cleared puck after extended gift? YUP KEITH.
