** NHL 15 Thread ** Part 1

Just to compare, here's a bunch of gif's from the trailers on NHL 14. It looks NOTHING like the actual game, the players look better in the trailer and skating/gameplay is actually smooth.

They look exactly like the gameplay, except sped up in certain cases.

The sock material and pants look like they're made of leather/vinyl material. So is that what next-gen is supposed to look like, glossy and fake looking player models?

Yep, the pants material needs more "roughness".
Additionally, the burgundy color of the Avs jersey needs higher saturation, more red to it. It looks washed up and brownish on the picture. Otherwise it looks pretty good IMHO.

I don't really care about the glossy materials that much but one thing I don't like is the fact that the logos and numbers look printed.

Sean ramjaghsingh was on this podcast show and said all the information regarding NHL 15 will be disclosed in the next 2-5 weeks, including possible new features and game modes.

So I'm planning on getting NHL 15 even though I won't have a next-gen console by then, but I have two questions for you good people.
1. I'm going to be playing 15 on the 360, what new features can I expect? I know that the majority of them are next-gen only, but surely there's somethings for the current gen people (besides roster changes)?
2. What's the "$40 of UT game content" with the Ultimate Edition of the game? I know in FIFA it's usually one gold pack a week with untradable players, is that how it works in NHL as well?

This game could be the biggest POS and I would still be buying it. Since I switched to the PS4, I've been going crazy not having an NHL game.

2. One gold pack a week for 24 weeks I believe. (I saw the same promotion, but $24 of HUT)

The $24 of bonus material is from Gamestop's pre-order. I think what he is referring to is the special edition of the game that has even more bonus material (if I'm reading you guys correctly).

I'm guessing that it's not new game modes, but maybe it's changes to current game modes i.e. what will be new/different in GM mode and Life the Life.

haha downloaded the UFC demo yesterday. First fight. I spam square button for 15 seconds, the guy is immediately KO'ed. Deleted the game after that short fight.
