Lost to NJ in the first round in 6 games. Lol. Seems the sim engine still has it's issues. Really tests my patience, but it seems like the Caps have always been cursed on these games, can never win the cup with them.

Nope you can't in X1/PS4.

Thinking about getting the 360 version. Can you still have the draft, manage your prospects in the AHL, GM firing etc?

Had the ps4 version but got rid of it asap as the GM version even with the Draft (which is being added) is crap compared to 14 (gave my 14 to my little cousin).

I play on 360. I started up my GM with the isles, and went to check free agency, and 4.5 gold star Hunter Shinkuruk was there. Has it happened to any of you guys? There was also a 72 overall 4 green star defenseman and a 3.5 green star goalie.

To answer your question, GM on 15 360 is almost the same as on 14, but the draft is deeper (my lowest overall selection was a 3.5 red, with the picks mostly 4 gold), 2nd and 3rd round picks hav value. Also, they fixed player progression. 15 does have the draft, with much more depth, editing the AHL roster, GM Firing, and everything else 14 did but improved.

So far i did a rebuild with Ottowa. It sucks not being able to pick my draft picks but the draft rules. I got a goalie 1st overall in the 2nd round that 4 years in was 87 over all and at 26 was a 91 overall. **** YEAH.

Also later round draft picks matte now. Your 1st round draft pick is worth so much before the draft starts. But when the draft starts if you don't have a top 10 pick your pick will be worth less then the player your draft. However the 3rd 4rth and 5th round picks will almost always draft someone worth more then the pick was worth. HOLD ON TO THOSE PICKS. Draft them and then tack them on to trades later on. Don't sign them so any team with 50 contracts can still take them. If you pair a bunch together you can turn all late round draft picks into 1st round picks.

Also trade for future picks. Like always detroit will be good the first couple seasons... Then datsyuk and zetter retire and they take a huge drop off. HELLO 1st OVERALL.

Crosby has had 100pt seasons for 9 years. Its wild. Malkin drops down to an 86. Wonder what would happen if he was 1st line somewhere else.

Also traded Anderson away when he was an 86. He was 36. at 38 he was an 89 overall. WTF? Every player I trade away gets better once they are traded. instantly. Glich? Becaus i am playing on all hardest difficulties?

I came here to post this same issue. It seems every year on free agency there is atleast one 4* unsigned drafted player. I have even seen multiple 4.5* players go unsigned(both goalies. One of them went 2nd overall)

I love the way player development works. Draisaitl busted on me hard after progressing well early. He went from Elite to Top 6 to Top 9, and stalled out at 81 overall (he's still young though). Meanwhile, my late 1st round pick in 2015, who started at top 9 has progressed very well, and is up to Top 6 potential at 83 overall (and is a beast on the PK with 95 defensive awareness, 89 speed, and a wicked wrister)

So I traded Franson and Finn for Muller, but Muller isn't anywhere in my system. I did a trade for B.Cambell right after and he is on the team. In the updated it said the trade went through. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Nichuskin can score like hell. I'm in awe.

Just finished Year 4. Won the cup with 65 wins in the regular season, 2 sweeps in the playoffs including the finals against Pittsburgh.

Nichuskin got 63 goals. He's a f***ing beast. Seguin and McDavid are also scoring around the 100 point area. Benn and Spezza are good for 60-70. Lehtonen is doing great in the net but my defence is kinda weak. Bottom 6 on forwards also jumbles around a lot. My prospect pool isn't great either.

P.S. 60+ goals is totally possible for Nuke ;)

I love GM in NHL 15 on the 360. The computers actually make good trades with eachother. Mike Greem won the Norris with 74 points in 201/2018 with Arizona, he is back to old form at the young age of 32. Arizona actually built a pretty good team, acquiring Green, Ladd and Kane.

With new leadership in the front office, GM Donut strikes quick with multiple trades prior to the start of pre-season for the 2014-15 season.
From a recent interview, it seems as if he is going with a youth movement, shipping out some of the older players and picking up developing players and picks in the process.
