I should really do one of these. I have a habit of re-shaping a franchise and and making a lot of trades prior to the start of pre-season in year 1. Someone pick a team for me, I'll start up a new Be A GM in a day or two.

LOL. I have all the trade settings to hard and whatnot and it's still so easy to fleece the computer. I usually don't go all out trading but I felt like it this time. This is my team at the start of Year 2 (Vancouver)

Huberdeau (88) - Johansen (88) - Kucherov (86)
Skinner (87) - Stepan (87) - Yakupov (84)
Etem (85) - Kuznetsov (84) - Kassian (85)
Beleskey (81) - Backlund (83) - Jensen (83)

Hedman (88) - Fowler (87)
Wiercioch (85) - Trouba (84)
Gormley (83) - Vatanen (82)

Schneider (88)
Markstrom (84)

In the minors, I have Martin, Peverley, Ward and Stanton who all aren't on the team anymore due to other players getting better. Basically all of the players on the team have great potential. Also, still have all the top prospects (Horvat, Virtanen, Shinkaruk etc). I also have McDavid due to my team sucking the first year due to lower overalls for the majority of players (Schneider was a tank though).

NHL 14 be a GM with the Avs! Just started YouTubing so bare with me. Click that like and subscribe button. Gonna be posting a bunch of NHL.

Nice! I like how you want to make the vids only 15~ mins long.

Just so you know, Varlamov was made an 88 ovr goalie. So if you would have edited him higher, would have been in line with 15

My personal opinion on that, is I think that's how the 84/86 goalies would sim in 14. They would sim like they were all stars. So I think EA upped their overalls to match how the sim works.

Anyone do a fantasy draft? That's my favorite thing to do mold a team from scratch. Should get my copy in the mail today can't wait :)

LA won the Cup again, so that's an improvement over NHL14 where the LAs and Bostons would struggle.

Watched a video online the other day where someone had simmed 5 seasons, and conference and Cup winners looked pretty realistic. After all the times I played the Islanders and Hurricanes in the playoffs or the Coyotes in the Finals, it's nice to see the results so far.

Crosby's leading the league by a wide margin in my first year. I thought that was cool because he rarely wins the Art Ross in the previous games. He's at 77 pts in 49 games. Everyone else, including my Stamkos, is at 55 pts or lower.

I also managed to nab Mackinnon earlier in the season for V. Flippula and two 2nds. Trading is on hard difficultly.

I too skipped 14 and have been playing 13 for two years now. Getting 15 was awesome. Big upgrade to 13 and I'm actually having a blast right now.

I may start skipping a year from now on.

Kuznetsov from the Caps seems like a pretty solid bargain acquisition.

He had 16 points his last season in Washington, I got him for spare parts and he scored 50 points for me playing on the third line and second powerplay.

So defensemen are getting a little too many points. Season 3 and Subban was tied for 3rd in league scoring with 95 points.
