Can someone tell me how these guys develop with the post deadline update? Thx.

Nyquist - 87
Huberdeau - 89
Galchenyuk - 89
Justin Schultz - 88
Yakupov - 87
Grigorenko - ??
Jaden shwartz - ??
Kreider - 84

I think I'm in 2017-2018 ATM

Can't remember Schwartz or Grigo sorry

Ho-Sang, Jones, Ekblad, Rundblad, and Rielly all hit between 87-89 for me as well

does anyone know for sure if young players in Be A GM ever gain weight? It's frustrating that Hopkins is 185 lbs for his whole career or Niederreiter should be over 200 lbs eventually. Also too many scrawny Rookies each year, it would be ok if they packed on 10-20 lbs each year since player weight actually makes a difference in this game.
Anyone?

They do, but for Niederreiter, he may just add a few pounds. I made myself as a 16 year old and as 150, and when I was 19 in a Be a Gm, I was at 168 lbs. It's not a huge difference, but it's enough to make sense.

Kadri 2 years on NHL 3rd line goes from 78-80 overall
Greg McKegg 2 years in AHL jumps to an 83 overall
Morgan Reilly 2 years of junior hockey reports to camp at 20 as an 87 overall defender O_O

This is how the growth system should be IMO. The bump that some players like Rielly and Huberdeau get are ridiculous.

drouin or seth jones in this update?

In my 2016 season, Drouin is leading the league in goals. Granted he's playing with Stamkos and Kucherov..but his overall is above 85 I think. Jones is around 74 which is a bit underwhelming.

Yea those two are like that. Jones is a 4.5 star green, but he is a slow develop. Somewhere between the ages of 23-25 though, he shoots up. Droun develops fast and is a pure goal scorer

In 2020 Seth Jones is an 87 overall and Drouin is an 87 overall. I've seen Drouin as a 91 overall in another save and Seth Jones didn't make any jump until he turned 25 when he went from a 71 to an 87 overall.

Malcolm subban, rattie and Jaskin how do they progress?

Rattie and Jaskin are both 87 overall in 2020 but they develop slowly and I don't know about Subban

Subban - took a while, but he eventually made to the 80's after six seasons and is an 86 at the strat of the 8th season
Jaskin - Not sure how his progress was, but I signed him as NHL/AHL fodder after 7 seasons. 76 overall

Howolenko not sure about the first name or the spelling of the last name but the goalie grew over 10 pts overall over one season being a backup.
Random finnish goalie called Samu Perhonen too over 10 overall grow, playing 0 games in the whole seaon as a backup

I have a BAP with Mcdavid, in my 2018-2019 season now and I'm a 92 which is the highest I've ever gotten so that's cool. But there's this goalie, Juusi Siv (a comp-generated player), that was drafted 1st overall by Vancouver in 2018 and he's a 91 right out of the draft :amazed:

Is a development like that normal? Here are two of my Avalanche players after the first season:

C Mark Olver 72-->82
LW Mike Connolly 71-->78

And there are many more who went up like 4 or 5 points OA.

had this exact same development after a year of gmc as the avs.. olver has 92+ shooting in everything

The first 3 drafts which have real players in them seem to have players overalls and/or potentials boosted randomly in every Be a GM save. For example, I drafted Tyler Fuhr in the top ten and his overall was in the 50s and he had 3.5 or 4 star potential. I drafted him again in another save and he had an overall in the 40s with 2.5 star potential. I have also seen regenerated players in these drafts. They make it so that even if you know the best players in the draft, you still might not get all the best players.

I'm in the 2018-19 season and Ryan Murray is a freakin' 97. He's been producing an average of 65 points per season which isn't shabby.

Have any of you seen a prospect go that high before?

Tried a couple simmed seasons and put rookies in big spots (chose edmonton)

I traded for Malcolm Subban,Ryan Strome and Nathan Mckinnon.

I'm in year 4 now and the break down goes like this:

Taylor Hall 88
Jordan Eberle 87
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins 88
Justin Schultz 90
Magnus Paajarvi 86
Jeff Petry 88
Yakupov 86
Alex Plante (started gm mode he was 74) He's not 85 haha
Olivier Roy 81 (perennial back up)
Malcolm Subban 89 (stared as 52, played him his whole rookie season he jumped to 65 then I played him about half the games splitting time with Dubnyk and he jumped to 79. just finished the sim and he came into camp fourth year as 89

Ryan Strome 84 (limited 3rd line offensive minutes) went 62-68-77-84

Jamie Benn 88

My lines have ended up stacked and this year it will all fall apart. the whole process was to see played development though haha.

Hall88 Hopkins89 Eberle87
Paajarvi86 Benn88 Yakupov86
Stalberg83 Strome84 Hemsky84
Hartekainen80 Lander81 Jones80

Schultz 90 Petry88
Bogosian87 Plante 85
Jo.Benn 81 Irwin 81

Subban 89
Roy 81

Team is going to be impossible to keep together but as I said before I was just simming to see how high a lot of players would get. On a sad note, Seth Jones never cracked the roster. I probably didn't give him enough time but he was still 72 after his elc ran out.

Anybody noticing how young 4 star centres don't develop so well? Examples are b schenn, couturier burmistrov, gagner, johansen, kadri

Not sure what update it was but I got Brayden Schenn to an 85/86 1st line fwd when I had him on the Oilers. But I agree, it's beyond frustrating trying to develop some of these guys.

I dont know how it works but i know its not random. Theres no way that all the players I've drafted that spent decent time in the AHL have high 90s in defensive awareness.

I've got the newest roster update and in the 2014 draft with the first overall pick I selected a green 5 star goalie, what do you guys think his ceiling is?

what's his ceiling? 5-star potential (green), i'd say Elite goaltender (and when i say "Elite" i mean ELITE)
