I certainly agree with pretty much everyone that he hasn't been quite himself this year, but not bad production for a slump year.Sebastian Aho has 30 goals, it is February.

Who's gonna be the one to dig that thread up?True and we all get free beers from that one guy
It's linked on MB in the brand new Sebastian 30 goals thread started by that one usual suspect.Who's gonna be the one to dig that thread up?
Is it too early to start tailgating?
It’s being played at NC State’s stadium? Then It will be a real hurricane.Knowing our luck, the day of our outdoor game it would be 80 degrees outside and the game would turn into water polo.

The fact that thread quickly devolved into shitting all over the 2006 Canes brings me endless joy that their fans are going to be forever haunted by that series after the way their fans acted in our house.TheJackAttack says the 2006 Canes were really lucky or something. If TheJackAttack says it, then it must be true.

I mean seriously. There's one guy in that thread going into intricate detail about that series and it just makes me laugh. They obsess about it. Some of them know what happened on literally every shift in that Game 7. You know what I remember about that game? We got a lead and then squandered it in the waning seconds of the 2nd period. Then we pretty much dominated the 3rd leaving no doubt by the end. And then their fans ran to the doors of the RBC Center like cockroaches scurrying after a light was turned on.As we get more distance from those events, and they STILL keep bitterly bringing it up like it happened yesterday, it becomes more clear just how much the Canes ripped the heart out of that fanbase. It’s not quite Hull-in-the-crease or Wide Right, but it’s very close and it’s the most recent.
In a way, it all turned out better than if we had just dominated them in a sweep. Dunking on a team is one thing, but this was like the half-court buzzer beater on Senior Night. They’ll never forget it.
Funny thing is, for a team they claim to have been oh so stacked, they couldn't even manage to win their own division during the season. Just sayin...
unlike buffalo's d, we had someone step up.
And nobody ever brings up New Jersey who had prime Brodeur and were on a 16 game winning streak and got absolutely manhandled by the canes.
I mean that was an absolute destruction job of a series. In a sense that's what annoyed me about not finishing off Buffalo in 6 and Edmonton in 5. The Buffalo series was an all time great no doubt, but the Edmonton series we dominated from the late 2nd of game 1 on, and the only reason it wasn't a sweep was stellar play by Markkanen after game 2. The revisionist history surrounding that series is absolutely baffling.Because the Devils were the only one of the four fanbases that had already experienced recent success and weren’t ready to crack psychologically.
