or Ryder or Brunner !
Or Zubrus of Bernier. Come on Poile, they're both "Predators type" players.

Nashville's forward lineup on paper is hideous. How the hell did they out score us last season?

Ryder for Colton Sissons.
Nashville easily says no.
Moving a under preforming aging niche scorer on the last year of his contract for Sissons ? Come on.
Lol...Sissons wasn't even in their top 10 prospects to start the year. Sure, he had a successful time in the A last year, but long-term he's a defensive-first third or second liner. Let's not act like he's Filip Forsberg.
'Talent Analysis
Sissons has the look of a primarily defensive forward with a bit of offensive upside. His defensive skills are already well-formed, and he isn't afraid to join puck battles along the boards. Sissons skating could be described as adequate; he can keep up once up to speed, but does not have good initial acceleration. It remains to be seen how much offensive upside is there for Sissons, but his likely role will be as a third-line defensive specialists.'
Good for Volchenkov. I actually said last Summer that Volchenkov would likely NOT be signed by another NHL team after being bought out by us. I went back on that statement after he seemed to have a decent year (with sheltered minutes) this past season. So I'm not surprised that he was signed by an NHL team to another contract.
Colton and Janarok are their co #1 center prospects. Find me a Preds fan who does this.

I'm not sure which lists you were reading, but I was under the impression that Nashville really liked Sissons even if he has limited offensive upside. One story that I know for sure is that were initially aiming to draft Jim Vesey with the 50th overall pick in 2012 but were surprised that Sissons was still available. They'd end up getting Vesey with their next pick at #66.
If I were Nashville, I'd much rather sign a UFA like Devin Setoguchi than give up a prospect for a year of Ryder.
uh ya…… sure….. to add to near the end of this thread…... would love to see sabres finish 3rd last……give them some small hope to not have in the end...
suck more…..and more and more…..
armpit.
why gio? why you sign with that garbage?
am i still allowed to talk **** about jennerat still or is that not cool now?
health and all….i hope he pulls through.
im not that vicious of mind.
Why the hell did Matt Moulson sign there? I figured he'd sign with the Islanders again before going back to Buffalo. Why would he wanna go back there? I'd love to hear his reasoning.
While the character issue could be a problem how would everyone feel about potentially going after Mike Ribeiro? I think the Devils could certainly use him if the term is right. IE: 1 year 1-2 mil. He would push our's center depth to exactly where it needs to be.
