You couldn't because you're an Islander fan and as you say, it's about winning. Totally understandable, but that's not what the survey is about so why get all wound up about it or take offense to it? It's about entertainment value and whether you want to acknowledge it or not, it is boring hockey for the new or casual fan. Hell, it's boring hockey for a lot of experienced fans and it's not what the league is selling. That's just reality. But, as long as Malkin and Ledecky are cool with it, since their the ones footing the bill for a new arena and worrying about revenue generation, it's not our concern and no need to get bent out of shape over it.

Just win baby!

There are lots of rumors that the concussions have led to other health and mental issues that need to be addressed by Crawford. Similar to Ray Lucas of the NFL, hopefully Crawford can get right.

The one guy that was vocal about disliking the bubble, a league that had zero positive cases during the bubble, and every player stayed in the bubble while they were playing, players wives/girlfriends/whatever had babies during the bubble, and this one guy left? Good PR spin on that one...a pretty vague ‘reason’ so far.

Hell no. Screw that PoS.

I am talking about the athletes who have been doubly cursed to suffer concussions AND addiction issues.

I can't imagine a scarier combo coming out of sports.

You scared me for a minute, I had to check and thought something bad happened to Ray Lucas, like Junior Seau or other unfortunate players.

I was kinda rooting for him, but it seems pretty clear that his distraction-ness was too much of a factor for all teams.

didn't seem like a bad kid, just too focused on himself. maybe he should try tennis or golf?

he's still gonna make a decent buck playing the AHL, so i guess i'm not too sad for him.
