I’m thinking Martinook is the guy with the really bad knee.
If the injury that's keeping him out is related to his injury in game 4, I wouldn't be so sure. Seemed like he wrecked his ankle/achilles/heel after crashing into the boards then. If it's his knee it's a new or previous injury to that incident. But maybe he did injure his knee on that play somehow. I guess we'll see.

I was thinking, we're never going to get Dundon to spend to the cap after all this.
Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps he'll want to add to make sure to keep this going. Perhaps he'll want to keep the team in place, and that won't be cheap forever. Or perhaps he'll just think you can spend the lowest and always do well. We pretty much know how that will turn out on a regular basis. It doesn't always seem easy to get in his head, and he seems prone to changing his mind pretty easily.

Aho's knee is as busted as Hyman's I'm guessing

So if he has to get knee surgery, he'll likely be out for the start of next season :(

Guess that means we have to win the Cup now

I find it highly unlikely Luke wrote an article about Aho underperforming, saying it wasn’t injury related when people in the organization know goddamn well he’s playing with a torn ACL.

Martinook - looked like he broke his damn leg. I thought it was his heel or Achilles.
Dehaan - dudes always hurt.
I want to give Aho the benefit of doubt.

Who else can’t hold a stick well or skate like they normally can? They said “playing” so I was assuming not Ferland.

TVR’s injury looked a little gruesome. I was shocked he came back.

Didn’t they say he was playing with an injury already and aggravated it on that play? That’s why I figure it could be anything lower body related.
I didn’t hear them talking about it, that may be right. Looked like he slammed his heel square against the boards. That could lead to a ankle, knee, hip....anything lower body. Or aggravate.

It’ll be interesting to see what the butchers bill is when it’s all over.

Well, won't all this playoff revenue ensure that the team is profitable this year?

I just hope Dundon doesn't go mad with power like that Albert Schweitzer guy and figure that he alone was the savior of the team for getting them to playoffs on year one and then thinks he can do no wrong from here on out.

I also worry that this might be like after the team overperformed in '09 they didn't do much to upgrade the roster for next year. Hopefully he's smart enough to realize this is the time to open the wallet and spend to set the team up long term.

Most likely scenario: Dundon’s going to turn a tiny profit this season, determine via algorithm that the franchise is currently at max market value, and sell it to a Quebec-based interest.
