The jersey is in the shop at NHL.com now. If I buy it right now, will I get it home directly or do I have to wait until a specific date? First time I buy from NHL.com (or the US).

Probably at a specific date. They said that STHs will get the first crack at the new jerseys in September.

Just wanted to bump this thread to see what everyones thoughts are on the new jerseys after a few games. My thoughts:

The home unies are brutal. Way too much red. A black stripe or 2 here or there would do wonders. It is probably the blandest jersey in the league now.

The road unies are a bit better. Would give them a C grade.

I think one thing that could have been done to make them better is use black pants with 1 red stripe on the side. Would break up the red monotony on the homes, and give the aways unies something more.

I personally like them. The whites more than reds but I like both of them. Still don't love them yet though.

The home unis are embarrassingly bad.

I like the away set much better.

I hope no one buys them so the team does a makeover. A friend of mine told me they were selling really badly.

Numbers are really difficult to see on TV. The size and font of the numbers is poorly chosen.

Homes are absolutely god awful. I hate them so much.
The aways on the other hand are great. I bought one after the Wings game.
Still wish that they would add the flags back

I liked the aways and was meeh on the homes after the release. After seeing them in action, I love the reds. So chrispy and clean. The whites are busy in the wrong way for me.
