It looks like they have made it so you can't vote for the top stars this year. I applaud the change.

The Nominees

NESN is tweeting out fun facts on each nominee. So far they have Reilly, Coyle and Freddy.

I do have questions on Reilly's favorite childhood book.

Some ways good to eliminate the stars. probably would have chopped a few other guys like Coyle and Gryz off the list just because their expectations are already exceptionally high based on role

I think some heads will explode on the board with Reilly and Forbot being options

If this were in a few months and Marc Mcglaughlin may have a chance.

But not enough time.

My vote is Fredreric or Coyle

Carlo???? come on

That said, Swayman will 100% win, guarantee it.

Coyle? He is playing well, especially the past couple of months, but that is award is for playing above what is expected, and Coyle is now playing to what is expected from him, after a disappointing year last year

Hard to believe Coyle is -4 with 38 pts and Freddy is +11 with 15 pts.

Haula should be on this list for sure.

I'm just happy they are trying to get the award back to what it should be.

I'm still bitter over Kelly's snub in 2011-2012 to Seguin and Paille's snub to Hamilton in 2012-2013

Coyle won it 2 seasons ago. Nick Ritchie won it last year (he deserved it)

Bottom line Swayman will win this by a landslide and rightfully so but for me a close second would have been Haula. I don't get why his name isn't here.

Freddy or Swayman.

Haula lol. Those 10 goals and 23 assists playing with two of the best wingers on the team should get him the underachievement award . Add in the dumb lazy penalties he takes.

Swayman will most likely win it, but Fred is my vote.

Nobody saw this improvement coming from him.

Haula I wouldn’t consider but he’s been fantastic

Was talking to a scout last weekend on him and he was telling me how he was the key guy in the line changes that jump started the Bruins

One of my buddies who is a big analytics guys and been going to games since 90’s with me says Haula value based on contract one of best off season signing

Big big fan of this player - good player to use to teach kids how to play center / very responsible smart guy
