Beaulieu is a perfectly competent bottom pairing Dman, (this year at least). But he's clearly the odd man out.

It’s a very reasonable demand. He’s been better than Scandella but gets scratched game after game.

Last year Beaulieu was straight ass

This year in a proper bottom pairing role he hasn't been too bad,

Good skater, Good offensive instinct and adds some grit/sandpaper

When he was drafted the year after Tinordi was drafted also as a first rounder I thought Montreal was going to really have something tough to play against in the years ahead.

Can't blame him honestly. When he has been in, as a fan, I've liked his game. Nothing fancy or flashy, but he hasn't been one of the issues on Buffalo's blueline this season. Sad that Housley doesn't give him the opportunity.
Scandella has looked good at times as well, then other times hasn't looked so good. and Nate is an RHD, I keep him over Scandella.

Not sure that's the best move. He was mostly thrash with Montreal, he's got a very poor hockey IQ. I was actually surprised he wasn't sent down last year, but hey maybe as some say here he got better. I doubt it'd be a significant improvement though.

I can’t imagine he’s the only Sabres blueliner baffled by Scandella getting minutes while they’re a healthy scratch. Got to be frustrating.

they scratched Pilut who has been overall at worst our 4th best D to play Scandella. Hes been terrible this year. NB got hurt but was playing well. Since hes not gotten much of a chance
