Good ol’ Canadian kid this Strome kid.

Oilers sailing and soaring under old fat Hitch ...puts foot down and all of a sudden they play great defense and great goaltending ..crushing Avs tonight and will go 8-2-1 under Hitch.

Maybe we should have got him to coach instead of JC...nah ...our Core too stinky and grunts on the margins or not NHL calibre ..so we would have made a monkey outta Hitch too..

There is NO Coach on earth that cam turn Seabrook and Manning into competent players at this stage ...Keith is also I huge decline...Tiews ..really not "starring :much is he...Saad invisible most nights. ..Kane is Kane but you cannot expect defense with him...the gap between us and even the 6th worst NHL team this season is probably huge...They are merely bad..we ate totally incompetent .

Hitch is skinny now and not as cute as JC.

Joki needs to be given more of a chance on special teams, especially with Gustafsson sick and Forsling injured, but can't complain much about his even strength minutes.

Basically bag skated Kane in multiple games.

He’s definitely played Seabrook more, for no reason.

The amount he played Kane almost game across as desperate to just get a W to me.

They usually sit by the entrance / exit that the players use to get to the visitors dressing room.
But no one was there?
I sort of thought that they HAD to be there.
Was your guy just in the dressing room?

Some places have smaller benches so the backup has to sit in the dressing room. Not sure if that was why but could be

Thanks a guy on the Jets board said Crawford was on the Hawks bench (as unusual as that was).
I'm in the upper deck on the same side as the player benches so I can't really see it.
On the other hand... I have a perfect view of that visitor Hallway.

Anyways it started making me think if Ward got hurt that your team would be going back to the well of the "replacement / emergency" goalie. We didn't want to see that again. Probably some banker or accountant that we'd never score on

Wait for Mitchell and Boqvist to become NHLers, and then wait for them to develop into top-4 NHL defensemen. Basically wait 2-3 years.

He is not worth a 7th round pick and with that contract running thru next season (Thanks Stanley) the Hawks will either have to trade asset with him or take a bad contract back to get rid of him

I dont think the blueline is fixable until we get the younger guys in there. Manning can f*** off and so can JC for playing him so much. What is it with the early goals against? Last 11 games weve given up the first goal and 7 of those we went down 2-0.
That is despicable. Get a grip

Manning’s total TOI was 18:50, 4th highest among Blackhawks D.
