I wonder what Armia takes away from this?
Does he just go through the motions until the end of his contract?
Did he get embarrassed and ready to contribute to his abilities?
I'm betting the former since this is ongoing for two years. With a lot of "injuries" thrown in. Too bad that there is no way to cancel a contract for lack of effort.

he's getting bought out next year. The cap hit is not bad if done next summer

He was never that good though. Unique talent but inconsistent, at best he was a 3rd liner with an insane ability to hold possession of the puck which made him an ideal PK specialist. Most of those glimpses that made him noticeable have just been completely absent ever since that cup final run and now he's just a sluggish, zero offense vet which he mostly always was anyway, which is why I hated that contract from the moment it was signed. I knew he was going to get that kind of deal, I had just hoped it wouldn't have been with the Habs.
