It is amusing that you imply my hockey valuation is inferior because of the team for which I happen to be fan, which obviously is an irrational assumption.

You compound it by placing your valuation on his draft position rather than his on ice results, another irrational metric.

0 credibility, lots of laughs.

Amazing rookie year
Had some injuries that stopped him
Gritty and physical and fast

He has potential and with the cap going up 3M is freaking good, he doesn't deserve lower because of the expectations we have for him.

If it doesn't workout, you don't resign him.
Why are you even commenting if you don't care about the habs ?

Who's playing C for him?

We have no ideas who's going to be our center next year outside of Danault.....Welcome to our life.

Last year tho, Gallagher scored over 30 while playing with Plekanec who just plain suck offensively.

No matter what MTL should rebuild so trading Chucky was the right idea since he was not going to sign back in too years.... I just don't like the return... Would have prefer a 1st round pick + prospect.

I think you are putting too much effort and being far too rude to someone who said "a bit high" meaning a couple hundred thousand, and also suggested it could prove a bargain.

So what you're saying is that your terrible evaluation isn't because of bias, its just because you have terrible judgement?

Freeing another 2M on the cap.

It has to be max $$ to Tavares (like 2-3M above the 2nd best offer) or the coming of a big salary like O’Reilly.

There’s no way MB leaves more room on the cap than last year as it backfires on him. I can see, on top of that, an albatross contract comes July 1st.

As much as I hate MB, one of is strength has always been managing the cap...he’s very very good. The problem is what he does with the room he gives himself.

LOL. Loving the irrational Hab fan hostility. Keep it coming guys. "A bit high and could prove a bargain" is not a grand insult.

Your post seems a tad defensive. On what planet is that poor judgement?

Because he's a 23 year old with a career PPG of .61 making barely over 3M? There's nothing "high" about that cap hit. If you want to look for defensive posting maybe take a step back and read your own?

That's a great deal, but I don't exactly know why Montreal are going for a deal that is both cheap and short.

So you feel thinking it could have been a couple hundred k cheaper is just insane when it is in fact very close to the valuation you support.

Can you not see this is an extreme reaction?
