    GO HABS GO !!!

We'll win this one too. :handclap:

I just love how Bs fans are saying the NE hasn't been that bad in a long time, yet they are not dominating it. So I guess the Bs suck too, right? They're starting to sound frustrated and I love it. That's a sign that our team is doing pretty well. Apparently, we look terrible, we've been sucking bad for 2+ decades, we and the Leafs are weak, so home ice in the back pocket for them. Who needs Marmaduke and Garfield when you have the Bs board.

They said yesterday he was going to be evaluated this morning, it wasn't guaranteed but with Price being on the bench last night you can assume he was feeling much better and should get the start tonight

I have this game on disc a part of a ten disc "Memorable Habs Games" set. Watched it more than once during the lockout. Yowza!

Can't see tonight's game (7 PM start doesn't help), I'll only be home at 9:15.

Needless to say I won't be too attentive in class

Any other tri-state area Habs fans going tonight? We usually put a good number of fans in MSG, but given it's a week night, maybe not so much this game.

    Our 4th line is impressive.

Dumont, Nokelainen and Blunden can also assume NHL 4th line duties. Plus, when a quality player like Eller is receiving 3rd/4th line responsibilities, it must indicate that something good is happening in Habs land.

I really like the depth and mix of players upfront.

Carey Price against NYR at MSG

    Code:
Years GP	W	L	OT	SA	GA	Sv%	GAA	SO	Min
    2011-2012	2	0	2	0	57	8	.860	4.02	0	119
    2010-2011 1	0	1	0	12	5	.583	16.42	0	18
    2008-2009 1	0	1	0	44	3	.932	3.08	0	58
    That looks really bad.

The habs were without Gill, Pleks and Halpern in 2010-2011 game.

I had to check twice, couldn't believe it was already 5 years!

  14. Dude. No way Price has a GAA of 16.42 in 2010-2011

You missed the header describing what it is I was talking about.

  16. No, actually, I simply did not knew that GAA for a partial game was normalized over a full 60 minutes.

    Nevermind :p:

  17. He let in 5 goals in 18 minutes, so when he get's pulled it goes up to 16+ GAA.

Allowing 5 goals in about 18 minutes will give the GAA of 16.4.
I'm not sure whether it really happened though.

Is there any official word on whether Price is starting?

And also whether there is any problem with Subban, or is healthy now?

I was at that game in MSG. The game blew fish oil, but my buddy and I had a great time with the NY fans. This was just before they did the renovations, when the spaceship ceiling and green/mauve colours made MSG looked like a Styx album cover from the 70s. One of the classic arenas.

  23. Guys, how about you finish reading the thread and realize I actually pointed out my own mistake before doing another useless reply?

It's not useless if it makes you angry enough to stay awake until 4am and watch a nice Habs W ;)
