Wouldn't going back to Popp NOW be the biggest ''we really can't get anyone good'' admission ever ? Any obscure NCAA div-3 assistant GM would give a better impression at this point.

That ain't gonna happen,...I hope.

Popp and the Wettehalls trying to get back in has to be the greatest joke since all of this ownership sham began.

Time to move on, these guys had their time.

Well, the serial GM decliners list is only second to the ownership groups slapped around by the league's commissioner throughout the summer.

Talk about a hot potato.

How the hell did Khari Jones rise when surrounded by such a pile of hot garbage?

They'll end up with Jim Popp as GM since he's the only one who has been open to returning.

Also, listening to Martin Leclerc this morning on 91.9 Sports FM, he said that it's a committee involved in the process of finding a GM. And one of those in that committee is Khari Jones. He finds it odd that the coach is part of the hiring process of a GM.

He compared it to Julien being part of the group that would hire the GM that would take Bergevin's place.

He explained it in a very funny way. He said if you ask a committee to draw you a horse, you'll end up with a camel. Meaning everyone will have their own idea on how to draw it and the result will be anything but what they needed to accomplish

So Popp would return and the Wetenhall would invest? Geez, why did we waste so much time and energy to go back to the past?

They keep getting turned down by likely candidates. Nobody wants the job it seems, so Popp may actually get it. :shakehead

He probably was in on the whole Kavis Reed scheme. I have a hard time believing he was clueless about it.
