To be completely honest, the list of assets the Avs currently have that I would accept for Monahan are: MacKinnon or Rantanen. I wouldn't be giving up Monahan for any other piece since no other piece can be Calgary's #1C right now.

A lot of people have:

Marchand - Bergeron - Pasta.

If Marchand can play the entire year, almost guaranteed 1.10PPG and Pasta is .95PPG, that doesn’t even mention their selke winning C. That’s using stats from before, which don’t even play to this argument since scoring is easier now. Underlying metrics also favor BOS, not just the incongruent argument of raw stats.

I’d go with Boston for now, but for sure, COL is not far behind.
