Anyone looking to add a Top 4 Dman, Anchorage is looking to move Mark Streit for picks/prospects. 1 year left at 5.25M, could be that extra veteran Top 4D your team needs to push themselves over the top.

Only looking to trade him because we feel the youngsters in Alaska need playing time and the Defense is a little crowded right now with Streit really being the only movable piece.

are selecting on No.3 overall:

Jesse Puljujarvi

6'3" 201lbs
Karpat Oulu Finland

GM quote:
"Jesse Puljujarvi is a big offensively talented forward, who is one of the best skaters in the draft. He brings us size, speed and great playmaking skills. He's the guy who'll claim Forsberg's spot. Also we value players who has great work ethic, and Jesse doesnt make an exception."

Had to bring this up, Finland is U18 World Champions, Pulju with a hattrick ;) had to get rid off #9 to get him the #9 on jersey

Word on the street is Fleury could be had at below market value (if not sending a dump back). If one wants to shore up their goaltending with a promising young netminder, Murray could be available as well, but he won't come cheap.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are proud to select from the Mississauga Steelheads, defenseman Sean Day

Day_Steelheads1_672.jpg

Lou feels it's time to take a calculated risk. Mississauga is right in our backyard, our development staff with both the Leafs and Marlies will be very hands on and active in Sean's development from this point forward. If we can get the best out of Sean we will have significantly upgraded our pipeline on defense.

from previous page.. have gotten requests from few GMs already that are manageable (not shown here yet though)

We're going to change up the UFA waves a bit. A small issue came up during the offer sheet period; team can only go after one player with one set of picks. If all big UFAs come in at the same wave, teams with limited cap space can only go after one (any offer that would result the team going over the cap is rejected); if they miss and there's no UFA players left that they'd like to target, that's it for them. Hit and miss.

So GMs of teams that are going to be active in UFA, look to be at least playoff contenders and have about 10-12 million or less in cap space, PM me who your top 2-3 UFA targets would be if you'd like to influence this. We'd spread out the big fishes in two waves, instead of having the top guys in the first wave, and the lesser guys in the next wave and even lesser guys in the next wave etc. Based on the feedback I'd get, the UFAs can be spread out a bit so teams with limited cap space can go after the biggest UFAs twice, instead of just once.

UFA lists can be found in many places, including capfriendly. All will hit the market.

As of now the plan is

First wave
Stamkos
Okposo
Ladd
Nielsen
Yandle
Campbell
Lucic

Second wave
Radulov
Eriksson
Backes
Boedker
Demers
Hamhuis
Goligoski

Samuel Girard!

1 (8) : D Jakob Chychrun, Sarnia Sting, OHL
1 (21) : LW Max Jones, London Knights, OHL
1 (27) : LW Riley Tufte, Fargo Force, USHL
1 (28) : C Luke Kunin, U. of Wisconsin, Big-10
1 (31) : LW Cameron Morrison, Youngstown, USHL
2 (40) : D Samuel Girard, Shawinigan Chataractes, QMJHL

A monster of an offensive player, he has an excellent offensive sense, hockey IQ, and a heck of a pass. The 17 year-old put up 74 (!) points in 67 games as a defenseman.

After a somewhat testy negotiation process with Michael Stone we have decided to move him.

Arizona sends him to Florida for McCoshen + 48 + Brittain.

Arizona wishes him well.

Arizona selects Chad Krys at #41.

Next GM pm'd.

AGM AslanRH confirmed the trade

We are very excited to add Michael Stone to the team. We feel he will be an excellent fit with the absence of Gudbranson.

We also would like to wish both McCoshen and Brittain well in Arizona and believe they will flourish and have a better opportunity in the desert.

Our sincere gratitude to GM Skip2myBordyloo for allowing us to consistently pester him in our pursuit of making this trade happen.

Kevin Fiala

GM quote:
"We wish the very best to Kevin. We've got so much width to our winger-prospects, so we want to let Kevin a chance to prove his skills in another team. With these picks, we can focus to get more prospects on positions we need them most. We also want to thank Ottawa Senators for quick and solid deal "

Ottawa confirms.

The chance to acquire a young player like Fiala doesn't always come up, so we felt the need to jump on the opportunity.
